Infection

Infection, originally uploaded by Uncommon Depth.

I have a digestive disease. Sometimes I get sick. Sometimes I get very sick. Someday I will be cured and will be able to lead a normal life. (I have written and erased this post 5 times now today.)

Roberta, I’m also very taken with this image….I think because it looks like an impressionist painting. I hope you feel better. Continue creating!

        Roberta,
I also found your blog through Linkedin. Where are you having these shows? I know about the blues, simply preparing for shows is so motivating and “hope” is tangiable. My blog is http://cerartist.blogspot.com/
I am pursuing the blog thing, although, I am quite awkward with it,, it’s not flowing yet.

Hello Roberta, I am so sorry for your illness. Having that kind of thing to deal with is brutal, however I am sure you are emotionally a much stronger person for it (not that it helps you feel any better to even consider that). I found you through your linkedin posting and am very glad I did.

This painting is exceptional. I love the atmosphere you have created and the composition is wonderful. I find horizon lines to be quite interesting and you have played with that very well in this piece! Truly, this is beautiful work.

I am not sure what has made you change you mind about this post, however I am glad you made the decision to keep it here.

Thanks for your comments Kim. I kept deleting it because I don’t want to be judged on my disease. I kept leaving it in, because it’s a big part of who I am and explains some of my work, which I must point out is photography based.
